Riot Medicine, Herbalism for Activism, and Safe(ish) Protesting

Sanctum staff and volunteers will provide education and training on riot medicine, herbalism for activism, and safe(ish) protesting, over an intensive multiple-month course.

Topics will cover, but are not limited to:

• Legalities
• Resources to Protect Protestors
• The History of Riot Medicine
• Pre-Action Planning
• Common Injuries
• Making Common Herbal Natural Aids
• Meditation and Calming Techniques for High Stress
• Infosec
• And much more

We will be asking for a $20 donation to help cover costs associated with these classes, however, no one will ever be turned away for lack of ability to pay. The donation is a one time request and covers all the many months of classes, unless someone feels called to donate again. PLEASE DO NOT DONATE IF YOU CANNOT AFFORD TO DO SO. All educational materials for the class will be posted on the learning management system on the seminary for download. Note that this course is currently still a work in progress, but is not being taught live at this time.
